my country nigeria not listed in sandbox account

My country Nigeria is not listed while creating sandbox account in paypal. Can't I recieve payments in Nigeria

Unfortunately your country cannot receive paypal payments.

You can only send funds for purchases.

Click on the link below and select the country you want from the drop down list for options available in that country.

It is possible to create an account based in Nigeria, however the process is not a simple as we would like at the moment, but we're working on it and hope to have all countries appear in the drop-down in the near future.

To create an account based in Nigeria today, follow the instructions below :

1. Open a browser and enter the address "https://www.sandbox.paypal.com".

2. Once the page loads, click on the United States flag at the bottom right of the page and then select "Nigeria" from the country list.

3. When the page reloads after redirecting to the site, click on "signup" at the top of the page and follow the standard account creation process.

4. Once the account has been created, you can link it to your developer account so that it appears in your "accounts" section within PayPal Developer. Just login to your developer account and on the "accounts" page, click on the link highlighted on the line "To link your sandbox account to your developer account, log in with PayPal and provide your sandbox account credentials".

Click the link, enter the email address and password for the new sandbox account and it should now be linked and display within the account section of your developer account.
