PayPal Payments Payouts

I am using PayPal Payments Payouts as I want to pay the seller and pay the admin the commision at the point when the buyer makes the purchase. Does this work in test mode as I would like to do a few tests before going online? Thank you in advance

Standard Payouts (paypal.com)

Payouts works in Sandbox here is what you will need for testing:

For all payout options, you'll need the following:

1. A PayPal business account
2. Access to PayPal Payouts
3. A confirmed identity, email, and bank account linked to your PayPal business account
4. Sufficient funds in your PayPal business account

If you provide the merchant id for your sandbox business account, we can ensure it is enabled.

Yhank you for your reply.

I am still in testing mode and I haven't yet created a business account apart from the create apps of Paypal testing accounts I mean.  I would like to test how everything works in test mode before I launch the website.  

I hope that I am making myself clear to you as I am terrible in explaining things.

Hello @stezamo 

I can enable your Business Sandbox account for payouts, so you can test Payouts in Sandbox.

Here is how to find your Sandbox Business Merchant id in the Developer Dashboard.

• Go to https://developer.paypal.com
• Log into the dashboard.
• Click on Sandbox Accounts (Found under Testing Tools)
• Click on the three dots to the right of the sandbox email
• Click on View/Edit Account
• You should see the Account ID in the Profile

Once I have the Sandbox Business Account Account ID, I can enable the Sandbox account for Payouts. This will allow you to test it in Sandbox.
