Paypal issued me an incorrect 1099K and refuses to correct it. What can I do?

I would like to see what you received from Dan. I’ve been stonewalled by someone claiming to be named Paul in the executive office.

Did you ever get this corrected? I am having the same issue for a 1099K that was submitted in 2021 & have had no luck in getting them to correct it even though it is wrong.

Yes, I was ultimately issued a corrected 1099-K by Paypal after I filed a complaint against Paypal with the Better Business Bureau.  Even then, it took several months and dogged persistence.  I'm sorry you had/are having this same experience.

Thank you for replaying! Looks like I may have to take this route as well. Glad you were able to get it taken care of.

Hello @DraftKingCris and @RevClare

Welcome to the PayPal Help Community and thanks for posting here!

Sorry to know that you've received an incorrect 1099K in your PayPal account. PayPal provides the list of all the transactions included in the calculation of your total gross sales for goods or services. You can find this reconciliation report in your PayPal account alongside the 1099-K Form (under the Tax Documents section). I would recommend you to use the report review and validate the amounts reported on the 1099-K Form issued to you by PayPal. Here's the article with the information to review the Reconciliation Report. if after reviewing the Reconciliation Report, you still believe that there are differences in the amounts reported, please contact the support team to get this checked further.

I hope this information helps you,

Bindu
