If you are making purchases for eBay items and the payments are not showing on your PayPal activity, it sounds like your payments are being sent through the PayPal website as guest transactions.
We would advise you to check the payment notification emails that you have received from PayPal in order to see if there is a receipt id showing. A receipt id would be a reference number that shows the payment has been sent as a guest transaction on the PayPal website.
