Ever since PP got rid of the Activity with Balance they have been completely making up the balances with fake numbers. First, this was a necessary feature of any bank account. Getting rid of it was beyond stupid and poor customer service.
I realize I can ask for the balances and then download some nonesense report. But here's the bigger problem. Paypal is totally making up the numbers. I reconcile my balances to my financial software at least daily - sometimes multiple times per day. I've been correct for 10 years running.
All of a sudden Paypal has the wrong balance. I don't know when it started because it was prior to 2021 and I am NOT going to go back and reconcile everything again.
Just today, I reconciled my account to the Paypal balance on the screen. 10 minutes later, the balance changed. It makes NO SENSE at all and they seem to think that because they are hiding the numbers from us, it's also OK to do the calcs wrong.
1) Bring back activity with balance
2) Stop making up your numbers. it's insane!
