bought a laptop on ebay,had to send it back not working,been trying to get a refund back

they are saying there paypall as been frozen so cant give a refund yet because iv opened a case against them,does this make any sence? iv opened a case on ebay against them but not paypall yet.do i need to open a case with paypall for them 2 refund me.?

If you have opened a case on ebay you can't open one on paypal.

I hope you sent the item back trackable to prove delivery back to the seller because you need to submit a tracking number to ebay to prove you returned it before they allow a refund.

The seller can still refund he is lying to try and get you to close the case....do not do so.

Escalate when you can (i think with ebay its after 8 days) and then leave it to ebay to sort.
