Where is my refund? - Not appearing on bank balance

So I have been given a refund... paypal says its all completed, transfer to bank account completed and everything, this was supposidly done yesterday, yet it is still not showing up in my available balance... how long could this take to go through?

Debit card or instant bank transfer? Which was the original funding source?

It would of been a debit card and has apparently gone back onto that card as it tells me its completed the transfer to debit card.

If you funded the original paypal payment to the seller with a debit or credit card then it won't go back to your paypal balance.

Once marked as completed it will automatically go back to your bank account or credit card but takes up to a week to process through to the bank and a bit longer for a c.c.

grreat. It was a rather large sum of money I needed for driving lessons on tuesday..... hopefull it will take no longer than 5 working days.
