Requesting refund for a game account

Hello,

I bought a game account 4 months ago from a website, I received the account and was able to play.

Now suddenly I cannot log in the account anymore and it seems that the e-mail has been changed so I cannot reset password etc. It seems that someone has gotten the account and changed everything. Is this kind of tramsaction covered by Paypal so I can request a refund/chargeback from the website?

You can file a dispute for item received but not as described up to 6 months post purchase.

However whether you will win or not is another matter, but you can't lose anything by trying.
