Refunding 2 items in a dispute (customer says they never arrived)

Hope you can help

A customer of mine bought 2 items ( 01 and 02) but paid together which created 03. They have opened a case saying they never arrived so I've got to refund them. Because there were 2 purchases there are 2 disputes (01 and 02) but only 1 payment 03. When I click on each of the disputes it won't let me refund...I asume because they are part and not the whole of the payment. I can't refund via Pay Pal because the payment is 'on hold'. I think I need to somehow split the 03 back in to 01 nad 02 but I don't know how to. ...HELP!!
