Paypal says they've refunded it to my giftcard/paypal but it's not there

I made a payment and then was entitled to a refund for reasons and took it. It says that the payment has been refunded, but the funds are not showing up on my paypal or on my gift card. Any ideas?

If you funded the purchase with a prepaid credit card or gift card, then it can take 5 - 7 business days for the refund to show on the card.
