Hi, can anyone help. I had a guy who bought something on ebay from me did a dispute which has frozen my account with a negative balance, he wanted to return the item for a refund, I offered him a part refund which he refused, however we have agreed of a higher part refund but the paypal system won't let me do it again, any ideas how I can do this? Thank you
if the funds were not on hold on your account, would you have enough there to give this partial refund to the buyer? If you would then if both you and your buyer e-mail PayPal customer service they will be able to complete the partial refund and close the claim.
If you do not then you would need to add the funds to your account, a refund can only be completed using funds that are available.
