About 4 days ago i was selling an item on gumtree a buyer was very interested in this product so he told me that he wanted to buy it though paypal the goods where worth 500 dollars and he said he will give me another 100 dollars in advance so that i can ship it to him i received an email from paypal showing me that he has transfered money to my account however, the email was fake somehow he had copied an old method from paypal and used it. I thought it was actually real i also have proof on my phone of this event. Anyways i sent the package to the guys address with the tracking number. I still have the tracking number with me aswell. And it got redirected to a post office at ACT australia and he collected the package from there and i never recieved my money for it can someone else help me im very upset for what has happend and lost 600 dollars because of it. This is a typical paypal scam.

What you should always remember is  >>

Paypal NEVER tell you to send an item before the payment is showing in your paypal account.

Paypal do not tell you to send trackable, they advise it for selling protection but it is not compulsory.

Advice is voluntary.
