Cancelled a pre order cancelled 1st July, but still showing on PayPal as Pending

Hi guys, I cancelled a pre order with a well known games company on the 1st July, I have confirmation from them that the order has been cancelled, yet Paypal is still showing the order as Pending. This is preventing me from deleting that credit card from the system. Can someone please tell me how I get this order cancelled on Paypal. No money was ever taken as it was a pre order. Cowboy10uk
