UNABLE TO VOID SHIPPING LABEL PRINTED BY PAYPAL

I am an experienced seller but have been inactive since last year.

I just sold something and was prompted to print a label through Ebay Shipping, Inc (a new service with eBay I assume) and I printed the label using the "Ebay Shipping Inc." link. Then, I realized that I had not actually received payment yet (another change in the way ebay is structured caused me to misread the notice.)   

I started searching for a way to void the label but was unable to find one. I contacted the electronic customer service (no end to frustration here) and was prompted to go to Paypal account, then to History, then to Details, then to Void Label link (this is the way we have always done it in the past) only this time  THERE IS NO VOID LABEL LINK!!!!!  No way to void label. No way to get refund. I have only 48 hours to get this mess straightened out and no live person to help me. Can you?

If anyone has the right answer can you let me know,, I have had the same problem and can`t find how to void the label and I was charged 5 times for the same label and didn`t print in the first place ,thanks  jtck

Is there a resolution to this thread? I cannot find the "void label" button or text on my transaction details for the shipping label. Did something change recently?

Hi sytgear,

 

Welcome to the community forums!

 

The void option is available for 48 hours for USPS labels, and 24 hours for UPS labels. After that time, it is not possible to void the label.

 

If you are within that period of time and for some reason the option is not there, you can give us a call for assistance.

I tried printing a label three times and of course I was charged but I was not on my computer or printer and not one of them printed.  when I got home I printed it OK.  I wrote to the contact us link and "Sarah" was unavalable.  I am not very happy but what is a person to do?  I will hound them to death one way or another until it is resolved.

Welcome to the forums!

 

Because of the time-sensitive nature of voiding a label within the 24/48 hour window of time as described in my previous post, it might be best to call. When you click Contact Us, there is an option to call.
