Hi
I recently made a payment via pay pal. I had sufficient funds to cover this payment but instead of the money being paid out of my pay pal account, it was paid out of my usual debit account. Luckily I had enough to cover the payment, but I had to then transfer the funds out of pay pal and into my debit account to cover it.
Is this what usually happens? Should I have transfered the funds before making the payment?
I am new to pay pal so I would appreciate some advice on this matter, before I make another payment.
Thanks ....

No it's not they should automatically use the funds in your paypal account first, but that said I'm having so many problems with paypal and accounts right now I don't know what they are playing at, if I was you I would not use paypal and close your account save yourself the hassle and money

Andy, first off, a huge thanx for replying to my post!
That's what I thought, I expected the funds to go from my pay pal and I was shocked when it left from my debit account. I was lucky that I had enough funds to cover it before I transfered the money over, otherwise I could have been left with bank charges!!
I need to make another payment soon so I think I'll transfer the funds out of pay pal and into my debit account first, and then pay from there ...
Thanks again 🙂
