a company has agreed to refund my money using a paypal acct. they ask "what is your paypal acct"
i supplied them with the email address associated with the acct---am i using supplying the correct info to them

Welcome to the boards!
Yes - your email address is your PayPal ID, so to speak. I do have other concerns here for you though - if you originally paid outside of PayPal, why won't the company refund you outside of PayPal? Also, depending on how they refund you, they may have the ability to later dispute the charge or file a chargeback with their credit card issuer. This could, in essence, leave you without a refund at all.
