Receiving Payment With Only A Credit Card

Not sure if the header makes any sense, but, my question is:

I only have a credit card setup on my paypal account. I have never sold anything using paypal before, only purchased. I understand how to send a bill, but when they pay, does the money received to my paypal account go towards a specific account, or does it credit my credit card? Does that make any sense? If it goes into a specific paypal account, and I purchase something else, does that money get used first, then my credit card? I'm lost here. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

The payment will be credited to your paypal account and show as a balance.

You can use the balance to pay for items or request the balance be sed to you via a check.

A paypal withdrawl check can take up to 10 days to process.
