Please Help .. total newcomer to Paypal

I have recently started a business, designing the layout for books. The books that have been completed are to be sold upon my website, blog and social site.  These books are printed on demand, so when a customer purchases a book,, I will in turn pay the printer who will then despatch the book.

Ok so my query is - If I add an 'add to cart' button beside each book and a customer purchases,Please  does this money go to my paypal account so that I might forward the monies required to the printers for their purchase.

Another query is the shipping - the printer I use calculates the shipping at point of order and also this depends on the delivery address and quantity of books purchased .. Is  the best way for me to proceed , to calculate the largest shipping fee and to charge universally or is there a way that I can incorporate a shipping calculator within the paypal system

You can incorporate a shipping calculator, but if your printer is using the largest shipping charge and you're using a system that produces lower charges, it'll cost you  - sometimes a LOT.

Better to first find a system that your printer is willing to live with, THEn figure out how to apply it to the website.

Always remember to use a real time calculator for shipping costs as you do not want to overcharge/undercharge your customers.

If your customer's are happy then you are happy .

All the best with your new Business.
