Payment Problem

I sold an item to a person and the reference tracking number for the package was sent to paypal. After that I received an email from paypal saying my account will be credited when they verify the shipment, but my account has still not been credited and the buyer said he was told my account would be credited within 24 hours, but that was 2 days ago. What can I do?
