Have receipt, No Payment

So what really happened? Customer purchased via PayPal.  She gets a confirmation that she sent the money but I have no record of it.  I have a hard copy of the receipt.  The email address is correct but no payment?

Same thing here.

Someone purchased an item from my etsy site cedarcandlelights.etsy.com and she sent me a copy of a receipt with all the correct info "you have paid" and in past 24 hours - i still have no record of it on paypal.

is there really a 24+ hour lag time between payment & receipt?

Ok so clearly PayPal owes us money.  I guess the next step is to contact them.  It has been over 48 hours from my transaction.

Hello Everyone,

You are right when someone sends you money either through the send money tab or for a sale the money should show up in your PayPal account. If you received a receipt but there is no money in your PayPal account I would make sure the email address the money was sent to is linked and confirmed on your PayPal account. If it is linked and confirmed I would contact PayPal directly to find out where the payment went. I hope this helps.
