I've just selling a 2nd hand phone to a buyer who said she was from UK and need to buy this for his nephew as birthday gift. Ok, tentatively, she was talking so sweet that she will liable for all shipping cost everything, but few days after I've shipped out my goods, the fake "Paypal" team email me & said that their customs had been hold the goods & ask us to transfer money by using Western Union to release the shipment. Well, I've do so, and they email me again to said that shipment had been release & payment will be release to me within 52 hours... But I'm still cannot see their payment & I'm email to ask them the reason to on hold again. And, they reply that they had over credited from the buyer's account, they need me to transfer the extra $$ back to the buyer 1st, so that they can release my payment... I'm start to curious, and call the REAL paypal team, and they said there are no payment on hold on my account & told me that I've been cheated... I'm really feels frustrated as Paypal team knows this kind of cheating "Paypal" email existed but no action to report & stop the cheating case... And now, I've lose my phone, lose the freight cost & also lose the money that they ask me to transfer to release the shipment... I'm such a fool to believe Paypal...

Dont fall for that crap & dont blame paypal, these scammers are using computers and they can manipulate a fake e-mail with  a fake proof of payment sent to your paypal account. It happened to me when a scammer told me funds were sent to my account and e-mailed what he wanted me to beleive was proof. I didnt take his word or his e-mail for it, I checked my paypal account personally first before trusting anyone else especially those who pay more than your asking and will pay for any shipping charges bla-bla-bla. As I checked sure enough my paypal account showed a zero balance and I told the guy who of course wanted me to ship items immediately that funds were not in and I would wait till they were. Pay pal is safe it is the scammers who take the chance to fake an invoice or fake payment made using a computer to copy and paste pypal logo's etc. Dont fall for it, you have the ability to check your account at any time, so do it and dont ship untill your funds have been secured, DUH!!!
