Ebay payment went to my OLD paypal account. Plse help !!!

I sold an item on Paypal, however the person paid straight away on Paypal, before I  realised that this was linked to an e mail account  thats VERY OLD......... set up 10 yrs before

This is the first time that iv'e sold on e bay, normally just bought) 

My paypal has the correct  email address, it was just my listing that was wrong.

The buyer tried to cancel payment, but its gone...... ???? He has confirmed payment and ref number. But I dont have the money in the account?  My fault, I know,  but how can I get the money from an old account into my proper one?

figured it out: i just needed to access my old email account and then add that email address back into my paypal account as a secondary address. then the funds showed up in my paypal.
