I want to share my worries with Paypal community. I have received an e-check payment for abig amount of money 4400 USD. I have sold a golden wristwatch in Ebay. The status of a payment now is pending, and it must clear on jan. 26( it is written in payment details).
so my question is if it possible to reverse payment after it was cleared in paypal system? Can it be a problem something like chargeback, after they will receive an item? I am afraid of loose my wristwatch and my money, because I dont meet Paypal seller protection requirements( my registered account is in Latvia, EU, but Paypal dont provide seller protection in Europe except UK/Ireland and Sweden)...
Is it possible any kind of fraudulent scheme using e-checks in Paypal?
The buyer is not a newly registered person, she has an account since 2008, but only 2 positive feedbacks with 0%.
She seems to be a real person not virtual, I ve googled her name and adress and seems to be she is really living in US, in Texas, her adress corresponds to registered in paypal.
So please advise. What would you suggest to do to avoid possible problems regarding this deal?
I would appreciate every answer, and especially if a person who knows this theme well, probably a moderator or a experienced user could help me!
