Perl code for integration

I'm not an expert at Perl programming, but there used to be sample REST API code in Perl. I've just spent a week (on and off) actually working out the code for this. I DON'T WANT PHP, node etc etc. JUST Perl. If anyone wants help on this I now have sample code which I'm happy to share.
