pay pal rewards

I received pay pal rewards and I was wondering what online retailers accept them. From everything I've been reading they are not often accepted by retailers and I can't find a list of retailers that do accept them. I was wondering what good the rewards do it they're impossible to use.

How did you get the rewards, though? By using PayPal Extras MasterCard or through reward programs from other cards?

I received them through pay pal as part of a dispute resolution. Now that I have them I'm reading they're not widely accepted.

Are they in the form of a gift voucher? Or do they just appear for you to use when you checkout?
