I had an issue with 2 transactions lately being for some reason charged from my bank instead of the PayPal CashBack MasterCard that I chose during checkout. My bank DID NOT have enough money in it to cover those transactions, which is one of the reasons why I picked the credit card at checkout.
It went into overdraft and the whole thing was so unexpected that I didn't even believe those transactions to be legitimate until I saw them on PayPal and saw the payment method used was FOR SOME REASON the bank.
I have since removed that bank account from my PayPal account altogether.
Now guess what? The 2nd bank that I have linked to PayPal is being charged instead! Just bought a pizza today and it got charged from the bank instead of my PP Cashback MC.
What the hell is this and what do I do with it?
