International tracking number not working - how long to wait before making a claim?

Hello, I am waiting for a package from China and I received an email from them about 2 weeks ago confirming it had been shipped along with a tracking number. When I try tracking it, it just says "no shipping record". I have already contacted the company to check that the tracking number I have is correct and they said yes. Given the Corona situation, I realise there may be delays with shipping companies, but I have no idea how long that should be. Could someone please advise how long I should wait before making an item not received claim, as 2 weeks without being scanned seems like a very long time under any circumstance. Thanks

I highly suggest to dispute the transaction.

I didn't receive my item or it's different than described. Should I open a dispute?
