Unable to send invoice

I can't send an invoice! After creating one and pressing the send tab, a message appears on the screen as follows: Sorry, we couldn't create your invoice. Please contact our customer service team for any queries. Can anyone help with this, please?

I am trying to send invoices. PayPal is saying they cannot send the invoice. However, I created two invoices about two weeks ago and it went thru fine.

I was having the same problem - but only if I entered any text into the "message to customer" box.

As soon as I created an invoice with no "message to customer"  text - it worked like a charm.

I'm encountering this very same issue on sending an invoice in my business account. I'm tried removing the description texts and the Message to Customer so it's just basically just amount (numbers, no texts). The problem persists!

 

Help! We badly need this to get fixed.

Do you use Paypal or Paypal business? I sent the invoice by Paypal Business app and never had an issue with it..

Im using regular Paypal. I will try and switch my account to Paypal Business and see if that works. Thank you for the recommendation, its most helpful!

You’re very welcome. I changed from Paypal regular to Paypal Business in 2022 I believe since I was required to “move” there if I want to send the invoice. I use it as a personal account, not under a company or a group name so I think it may work for you as well. Lmk if you succeed with it! Thanks!

@IndicaDreams, I would only recommend switching over to a Business account if you operate under a company or group name. With that mind, you can still login to the PayPal Consumer or Business app without having a Business account. If you're still running into road-blocks after trying that, please don't hesitate to try one of our Customer Support teams for assistance.

Hi,

Have the same issues here with my PayPal business account. I can't send the invoice or edit the invoice.

 

Does anybody still have the same issues?

Hi,
It is super frustrating that I've been waiting for a week now to solve this issue, and all the support has to say is a bunch of empty words. My client is waiting to pay me. Do they think I'm going to make my client wait forever or what?

I would be happy if something would happen because 2 weeks before this everything was fine
