PayPal Mastercard account not working

So in July when I tried to make a payment online with paypal Mastercard, it told me that “something went wrong” and I was unable to make any payments, and to this day still cannot. I have been using the automated phone service to make payments since July, and now in December the phone service is now also not working, as before it said that my payment was “successful” and now it is saying my payment was “submitted,” however it’s not showing up on my account as paid. My bank account has been connected the whole time and nothing has changed. I don’t know that to do because now my payment is almost due and I’ve tried paying it multiple times before the due date.

Hello @Darfoul

Welcome to the PayPal Community!

I'm sorry to hear you've been unable to use your PayPal MasterCard lately to make payments. I suggest visiting this Help Center article to learn about possible reasons the payment could have been declined. If you are using the PayPal Debit MasterCard, there was an update in the last few months that you now have to hold a balance in your PayPal account rather than use a connected bank.

I know that wouldn't explain what happened in July, but it could explain more recent payments if that's the card you have. If you are using the PayPal Debit MasterCard, you'll want to add money to your balance following these instructions. If the first Help Center article I linked does not work and you're using one of the PayPal-branded credit cards, I recommend calling the number on the back of your card to inquire more about why the payments aren't going through. You can also find PayPal's Customer Support information here

I hope this helps and you can use your card soon!
