Android PayPal app crashes continually

Hi PayPal app on Android Samsung S20+ continually crashes on opening, tried the usual "fixes"; Uninstall - clean install Cache cleared App updated Fast constant wireless connection Uninstalled from Play window Uninstall from phone apps Phone restart, any ideas as the problem is clearly with PayPal, let me know when the PayPal app is fit for purpose. On the upside I've found other really good payment platforms other than PayPal, so a loss to PayPal Cheers

Hi, Don't use the app' to login in to your account. Worked for me. Fairvto say that PayPal have their heads in the sand in this problem!

I can confirm it's still happening and it renders the whole app useless.
Apparently PayPal does not want people to use PayPal at all...

Same issue w immediate crashing Paypal on my Samsung Galaxy S10e since 3/26/24. Samsung is updated, Paypal cache is cleared. There is clearly some BUG with Paypal and Samsung phones. Please resolve this! I heavily rely on Paypal.

Same here. Since i activated the 2nd factor its crashing after entering the TOTP.

After the login a multitude of captchas need to be solved, then its asking for my biometric verification and then its crashing. This is so messed up.

Is the idea of PayPal to remove the 2nd factor and use the app less secure?

exactly the same here since months... all these captures and then crashing... when will this be resolved????

Just changed from a LG Stylo 5 - paypal worked great on it.  Upgraded to a Samsung A34.  Log into paypal app, it instantly closes and never logs in.  Deleted the app, re-downloaded from the app store and installed.  Same thing, no change.   This is a brand new phone and has all the latest updates.

Every single other app I use work flawlessly.   Paypal app is completely useless on this.  I have location turned on and permissions for it to have access.
