where is my refund

I was refunded a payment on an old deleted Visa account which I did not remove on PayPal.
So I did not receive any payment at all ..
My question .. where is my refund now ?.. has it been sent back ?

Check with your card issuer regarding their policy on this as refunds will go back on the card which may take up to 30 days.
