Ordered from a website using my cc NOT PAYPAL. Somehow PayPal was connected to this transaction.....at the bottom of the PayPal receipt....there’s a button that reads ACTIVATE PAYPAL WHat does this mean and what should I do
That is only for registering for a PayPal account and associating the transaction it. It’s optional. Keep the email receipt in case you need to open a dispute later as you will need to reference the receipt ID number from this email receipt.
So .. I really dont need to do any thing. The transaction has / had nothing to do with my PayPal.... I used a separate non affiliated cc to make the transaction.... how did they associate??
If you bought something online with a debit or credit card and did NOT log into your Paypal account then of course it won't show on that Paypal account because you bought as a 'guest buyer'. However your seller may have processed that payment using their Paypal 'card reader' and so Paypal would show on your bank or card statement.
