On ebay i am receiving following massage :"We can't process your payment. Try again, or select a different payment method to check out." I can not find out what is the problem i tried with 3 credit and debit cards and also with Paypal account. Maybe the problem is because it is a little larger amount

I'm sorry to hear you aren't able to process your payment. As you mentioned, a large amount being sent that is abnormal for an account can cause our internal security to prevent a payment. This could also be related to the merchant you're trying to purchase from. Do you receive the same issue when trying to buy from different sellers? If not, then the problem is likely on the seller's end. If you do receive the same error, this is probably our internal security. The best option is to give the system 24-48 hours to reset and attempt the payment again. I hope this helps!

I get this error on ebay every time i try to pay with credit card. The only exception is when i pay a seller that does not accept paypal. only then do the credit card payments work.

Hi,
I know this is a late reply, but I post in this forum to inform others that have this problem, that there is a solution.
After being met with this same issue on eBay I reached out to eBay for a solution only to be told to try the following:
- Check with your card provider
- Make sure the entered card information is correct and exactly matches the billing address
- Try another payment method (I tried 3 cards, paypal, G-Pay, Paypal Credit)
- Clear browser cache and cookies
- Use another broswer
- Try using a mobile device
- Sign in and out of your account
- Try using a guest account
There may have been other "fixes" but these were the ones I was told to check. At least try some of these before continuing. While contacting my card provider, I was told everything was good on their end, but Ebay processing had an issue with the security code on the card even though it was entered correctly. After being told "tough luck" by two service reps I tried one more time except via chat. I was matched with someone who, although couldn't fixed the issue herself, forwarded me along to someone who could.
Solution: After being transferred via chat to someone from Managed Payments I explained to them that I had tried everything possible to make the payment, but the issue was outside my control. The person from this department was able to place a one-time 24-hour override on my account which allowed me to finally make the purchase. Try the steps listed above to show Ebay that you tried and then seek out this option. I thought I was a goner until I found someone from this department to make the override.
I wish anyone with this issue the best of luck and to let you know that there is a solution possible!
