Refund

Hi I got a refund from someone and I got an email to say that the refund had been cleared but when I went on PayPal this morning it still says the payment is pending and there is no money in my PayPal balance

Thank you so much for joining the Community and great question. It really depends on how the original purchase was paid, and if any purchases happened after the refund posted. For more information on how refunds are credited, please visit: https://www.paypal.com/gb/smarthelp/article/faq1083

If you happened to make any purchases, please go to your Activity log and open the details of these purchases. If it says that the payment method was the PayPal Balance, then that's where the refunded money went. 🙂
