On 1 April 2021 I made an online transaction using PayPal. However due to some (still unknown) issues with my card the transaction did not go through and the amount was put on hold. I retried the transaction but with a different card and it all went well.
My question - what can I do to unlock the amount from the initial card? Is this something that can be resolved via PayPal, the merchant, or the bank?
It may be that your card doesn't support those type of transactions or an issue your merchant doesn't participate in. Also depending on your country PayPal may or may not support certain functions and your account type could be the issue as well.
