Online Order Payment

I am very new to PayPal and am not sure how to make a payment for an order I made on a website. Do I need to transfer money to my paypal account and it will automatically take it from that, or will PayPal take the money directly from my bank account? Thank you.

Welcome to PayPal! I hope you enjoy using PayPal to make and/or receive payments!

To make a payment, it is not necessary to add funds to your account first. At the time of the payment, one of the payment methods that you added to the Wallet in your account will be listed as the default option. If there are multiple options available on your account, you'll be able to change the option before submitting the payment.
