Hi, I issued a refund to my customer and it says pending I am assuming it is because it is coming out of my bank account. Is my customer receiving the payment right away when I refund her or is it going to have her wait until it is processed. I needed this to be sent to her right away i did not know it would say pending.
The refund will be issued by your bank account that has to clear first if you don’t currently carry a PayPal balance to cover it and a refund issued transaction record will appear on the recipient’s end. Depending on the funding source(s) the customer used, it can take a week, up to 30 days in addition to the amount of time payment takes, while in pending status, to clear your bank account.
