If I have multiple cards linked to my account do I have to confirm which card will be used to make the payment Everytime a transaction takes place . Could I think that one card is being used but a different card is actually the card being used to pay for transactions

In general, you can choose a preferred payment method that would be chosen every time you make a payment, when available. Otherwise, you can select a different funding source during checkout.
