So PayPal has been blocking me from using my checking account when I'm trying to send money using friends and family. The only answer they are giving me that the security algorithm has flagged the transaction. It happened earlier this month and twice today. Those are the only friends and family transactions I have tried to send this month. I have never had any issues with payments until this month. I can send goods and services just fine. The 3 people I'm sending money to are people I have sent money to before, and they have sent me money. We have sent each other money for years. PayPal is telling me that there is nothing they can do to unblock the transactions. I have been getting answers like it will be unblocked in 48 hours or it is permanently blocked. The only solute they give me is to pay the fee and use my card, or use another payment method other than PayPal. It seems to me they are just blocking the free transactions. I could believe it was a "security" flag if it was just a one off transaction, but all 3 were blocked.
Has anyone else had this problem? Is there someone I can talk to at PayPal to get this fixed? I'm not getting any where with the normal customer service or their managers.
