Why is my preferred checking account not available to use to send money?

Could be security block and not available for use. Maybe try adding a card and selecting the bank as main payment method again but with the card there as back up PayPal can do an instant payment. PayPal fronts the money ahead to recipient immediately and then wait for your bank payment to clear or tap your card if your bank account is insufficient. Bank draft fees may apply. PayPal will make up to 2 attempts before tapping the card so add funds to the bank account if insufficient, not to the PayPal balance or you'll end up paying twice with the second payment ends up in your PayPal balance for you to withdraw back into your bank account again.

Debit card is already linked to same checking account. I am tired of paying the fees
