i got a email from paypal about a refund

i received a email from paypal saying i got a refund from something i bought on ebay and its pending until july 8th, i thought i paid with my debit but then  because i do not have my card or bank set up for paypal , so my question is can i just put my card info to get the money to my card or do i have to put my bank info? i have never used pay pal i just signed up for it but never really thought to use it ugh

How you paid originally, the refund will go back to it. PayPal balance refunds are fairly instant, bank payments take 3-7 days roughly, card payments take a week, up to 30 days depending on the card issuer.
