I have the same issue, PayPal is not responding to any messages or offering any help at the time we need them the most! It is truly frustrating. I can't believe this is happening.

Thank you for raising this matter to our attention. There are several reasons why money will be put on hold, see below article. https://www.paypal.com/us/smarthelp/article/why-is-my-payment-on-hold-or-unavailable-faq1987?app=sea... You may want to check with the sender of the money how it was sent if its as family and friends or goods and services. If it was sent as goods and services kindly ask them to follow the below steps: https://www.paypal.com/us/smarthelp/article/how-do-i-confirm-receipt-of-an-item-faq4176?app=searchAu... Hope this helps!

Hi @barks8
Thanks for reaching the Community for this concern.

If funds are not yet released, might as well check with your buyer to confirm that they already receive the item. Here are the steps on how to confirm receipt on buyer's end. Instruct your buyer to do this. Once done, funds will be accessible immediately.

Login to the Paypal account via www.paypal.com

  1. Click Activity at the top of the page.
  2. Find and click the original payment for the item.
  3. Click Confirm receipt.
  4. Click Yes to confirm that you received the order.

Hope that helps. Stay safe always.
