What happens if i buy something and don't have enough funds.

If i don't have enough funds,haven't connected a bank account,but i have a prepaid gift card on it and i don't have enough money on it what happens?

Does it go to negative balance? And if yes what happens with negative balance. Thanks in advance.

The card will decline and the purchase won't go through. It has to have enough money on it.
