Waiting for Refund

On the 5th of March Paypal found in my favour with regard to a refund, I hadn't actually paid for the item yet as it was bought on Pay After Delivery, however they then took the payment from me, which I found slightly bizarre! I still have not received the refund. I have asked why, but they're so inept that they can do nothing but send me a standard reply telling me it can take up to 5 business days to show. I must have 15 replies telling me the same thing. I tried making a complaint but ended up with the same reply which is comical, I'm at my wits end with it all. They  find in my favour, then take the money off me but haven't given me a refund, what sort of service is that and where do I go next?

You funded the payment to the seller using bank transfer. What PayPal do here is credit the recipient on your behalf (so there is no delay in despatching your item).

Then as you used PAD they have to wait until that bank transfer clears through to paypal and then as you have received a refund once that transfer completes its credited back to you.

Thank you for that quick and informative response, why is it after several attempts Paypal customer services couldn't tell me that? Would of saved all the hassle

Over a month now and still no refund!
