Refunded to canceled Bank

I have a German and a Belgian Bank connected to my PayPal account.

I purchased a phone on Samsung's web shop with my German credit card via Paypal around 5 weeks ago. After the purchase, I quit my German bank entirely (canceled the card and the bank account). Now Samsung, after weeks of empty promises (the worst service imaginable), canceled my order and refunded me without prior communication. I see on Paypal that the refund was transferred to inexistent German account.

How can i redirect the refund to my active Belgian account or my Paypal account so the money doesn't end up God knows where?

P.s. I saw similar questions dealing with canceled card but maintaining a debit account in the same bank. In my case, i had to quit the bank entirely.

Talk to your bank and see what policy they have for refunds going back to closed bank accounts.

SOLVED: as the bank account doesn't exist any more, money bounced back to my PayPal account.
