Refund

I made a purchase through PayPal. The cellars price was incorrect on the website so they refunded my money back to PayPal. PayPal has it in a pending State and it's been there for 5 days and I'm just trying to figure out when or how long they may keep my money because I really need to purchase this product while it's still on sale through someone else.

Paypal don't have the money yet, thats why its pending.

Pending refunds can only happen for two reasons.

1. The seller has issued a refund from their bank account which takes time to process.

2. You funded the payment to the seller using bank transfer. What PayPal do here is credit the recipient on your behalf (so there is no delay in despatching your item). Then if you receive a refund in the meantime they are unable to issue this until the original bank transfer completes.

So basically what may be another 5 to 10 days even though it has already cleared my bank account

I have never waited longer than a week for a refund.
