Refund Pending.

Basically bought 4 books from two different sellers but used the wrong payment details. Asked to cancel order so I could remake it with correct details. Companies did so and both sent me a full refund. The refunds have both been sat pending in my account for almost a week now along with a pending payment to PayPal credit which shouldn't be pending as I've paid it off in full and used it again since, its even come out of my bank. So I have no idea why it is. Still pending. Does anyone know when the pending funds will actually clear and be added back to my PayPal account. Thanks in advance.

Pending refunds can only happen for two reasons.

1. The seller has issued a refund from their bank account which takes time to process.

2. You funded the payment to the seller using bank transfer. What PayPal do here is credit the recipient on your behalf (so there is no delay in despatching your item). Then if you receive a refund in the meantime they are unable to issue this until the original bank transfer completes.
