Received Payment, but Not Showing in Balance

I had someone send me a payment earlier as F/F and it says that it is completed on both of our ends, but the funds aren't showing up in my balance. I tried reaching out to PP, but they are swamped. Is this normal? Help?!

just got off the phone with them. i was told PayPal is having an issue that engineers are working on. don't know when it's going to be fixed. i turned down the refund offered because i don't want to go to Rite Aid and argue about getting my $300 cash load back. i said i'd wait another day and call back if it doesn't clear.

I have been using PayPal for years.  I sell on eBay, and have for over 15 years.

My PayPal balance was $825.29 this morning after my bulk shipping charge was paid for my eBay shipments.
Today's transactions, totaling nearly $300 are showing in the activity, but my balance only went up by approximately $50.

4 transactions via eBay for $316.90 - $50.39 (refund due to cancelled order) = $266.51.
2 Friends and family transactions of $30 + $10 = $40
2 shipping refunds of $4 + $4.32 = $8.32.

According to my Activity statement, downloaded from payPal, I should have a balance of $1,126.89

However, my balance shows $881.


Why is there a $230+ descrepancy?

After realizing that my PayPal balance was short over $250 from today's transactions.
Came here and saw many people with a similar issue.
After calling and being on hold for nearly 40 minutes, the PayPal rep told me that they are aware and are experiencing issues where the PayPal balance isn't updating correctly and over 4500 accounts have been affected.
She informed me that their engineers said it should be resolved by the end of business today.

A friend sent $400. to my PayPal account via friends and family. It shows in both accounts, his and mine that money was sent but it does not reflect in my balance. It was sent about 2 hours ago??? Can’t get through to PayPal of course and I’m unable to find any explanation anywhere 

FRUSTRATED AS HEAK!! Need money to make loan payment, today is last day b4 penalty and I cannot get my money out because IT DOES NOT REFECT IN PAYPAL BALANCEEVEN THOUGH IT ALSO SHOWS IN ACTIVITY AS BEING COMPLETE AND RECEIVED. SUCH MAJOR BS

here in delaware its 749 pm and my account still isnt updated  still showing 0 balance

Would be nice to get an official response from PayPal since so many people are still coming here with the same problem.

Right... you'd think they would put a message in regards to it on the sign in page or send an email... something. Being most of us have issues of this since the morning. Worst customer service ever!!!!

They replied me with an email saying from now on everything should be back to normal
