Personal vs Commercial Accounts

I have a personal PayPal account. When I transferred money to my daughter, she returned it back to me the same day. I was charged a fee to transfer the money & now there is a hold on what she returned with additional fees attached. I have been without my money since 7/7/21. I know about the hold on the account but all the additional fees being charged on an account that is not a business is frustrating. How do I change my account type & getsnthe fees waived? **sorry for the long post**

If the goods/services option is used to send funds then you pay a fee regardless of paypal account type.

 

Your daughter can't have used the refund option OR the friends/family option but the goods/services option if you got a hold and fee.


Advice is voluntary.
