Pending

Hi ! I sent money to someone, and it has also been taken out my account but on Paypal it says it is Pending..... is it the other person or me that has the problem ???? All other payments I have done have been fine 🙂 Thank you !!

1. Is it to someone or to a company?

2. Is it marked as pending or pending / unclaimed?

3. If its pending / unclaimed is there a cancel option?

4. Was it an Ebay transaction?

Hi, 1. It was to someone 2. Ummm when I go to activity. There is a title Pending and that payment is under it. 3. Yes there is a cancel option 4. Not Ebay, but we are buying from Gumtree

ok, if it says pending / unclaimed WITH a cancel option then it means that the seller has made a mistake when he gave you his paypal email address OR you entered it in incorrectly during the payment process (typo etc).

You may as well cancel it as the funds are not going anywhere and then you can pay again if the email address problem is resolved.

Sorry one more question. If I do cancel it will it directly come back into my current account. As it has been taken out of the account already. Thanks 🙂

Just caught me was logging off to go to bed.

If you cancel then it may take a few days to go back to your funding source, dependent on how long ago you paid in the first place.

pending more than 3 month w/o cancel link

made more than 10 calls, still pending.

no one knows exact reason.

can not close my paypal account either.

Suffering contacting them, wasting  more than 10 hours already
